Key responsibilities- Identify and develop process improvements to streamline reporting and improve team efficiency- Supervise the accounting team during the closing process to certify deadlines are met- Review and establish Ad Hoc financial reports- Lend a hand to ensure a competent, trained staff through goal setting, regular assessment, and development- Enhanced preparation and coordination of fiscal year-end audits- Endorse implementation and confirm adherence to accounting policies and procedures- Drive accountability and the meeting of deliverables- Aid with the preparation of GAAP financial statements, including budgeting and forecasting- Guarantee regular account reconciliation to completion- Assemble distinct technical accounting analyses, policies, and procedures- Construct relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like actual spend against budgets/outlook, the monthly flash report, and key financial metrics- Supplementary duties as assigned
